Important Information
Vagabonds take our allocation of International Tickets very seriously, whereby people found selling on tickets etc can be issued with an indefinite ban from buying or using any Vagabonds allocated match tickets. Please read and digest the following and be aware that a ‘Zero Tolerance’ approach will befall anyone breaking RFU and Vagabonds RUFC ticket rules in future.
The RFU has been trying to stop match tickets from falling into the wrong hands for several years now and has become more and more successful in detecting those clubs responsible. They have made things quite clear as to whom clubs should release tickets to, and what the consequences will be for any club, and also club member, found to be in breach of their ticket rules. Methods used in tracking down rogue tickets include using their own people to:
· Purchase tickets at unofficial hospitality events and inspecting tickets within hospitality venues. · From people around Twickenham and outside the ground in the days before matches and on match days (including sound and video surveillance). · Monitoring of ticket sales on auction websites such as eBay.
I know most of you know how important it is to make sure any tickets do not end up in the black market and do act responsibly, but I must insist that any tickets not used by the person they were originally allocated to, their friends, family or clients, must be either returned to me or I must be contacted for assistance in disposing of them. Please remember, ultimately you are responsible for any tickets allocated by the club to you, so if you can’t be certain where that ticket is going to end up, then don’t release it to anyone.
