Let us know on the gmail account on the top right if the mail's not arriving. Our run will be a 5km Time Trial from Parsons' Park - route on the calendar Sep 26, 2011, 1:31 pm A choice of runs, 3.2 miles or 6.2 miles out to the North East of the Town, Gmaps links are on the calendar Sep 20, 2011, 1:46 pm It was an early start on Sunday 18th September for Martin Addrison and Paul Tew (with Barbara in support) to Surrey for the Farnham Pilgrims marathon and half marathon. It started from a village called Sands - a clue to large parts of the running surface, but lovely countryside in the hills - with views to a long way away! The marathon was up and down many hills, and after the first mile Addrison was surprised to find himself running alongside Doug - ex club member known to many of you who now lives in Aberdeen. The route was well signed and marshaled and team chatted to some interesting people on the way round. The Weather was good till the last ¼ mile when a very gentle rain shower turned into a downpour - but it was still a very enjoyable day. Addrison managed a time of 4hrs 20mins for the marathon, and Tew completed the half in a creditable 1hr 35mins - 2nd in age group. Sep 19, 2011, 11:44 am Routes now on the calendar - we have a choice of just under either 4 miles or 6.5 miles, running out around Bideford Green. we'll be in pace groups this week so please have a think about what "mile time" (eg 8.5 mins, 11 mins etc) you would like to run so we can group people up.
