WELCOME TO GASP

The Calgary Girls All-Star Softball Program (GASP) began in 1994, formerly the "Girls Quadrant Program", to provide competitive fastpitch softball to Calgary girls and coaches who excel in the Calgary Minor Softball Association (CMSA) community program and to develop teams capable of competing at the Provincial "A" or National Level.

Kaizen is Japanese for "continuous improvement", or "change for the better". It refers to either a philosophy, or practices, that focus upon continuous improvement of processes in game development and business management. Kaizen is the name that the teams of GASP play under.

Kaizen 97 Team Wins Gold at Spokane Cougar Invitational

Congratulations to the Kaizen 97 team for their Gold medal victory at the Cougar Invite Tournament in Spokane. The girls battled their way through the tournament to remain undefeated, with a record of 6 - 0, taking them into the Gold Bracket.

The final game, against Spokane Crash, saw Kaizen going into the top of the 7th inning, leading by a score of 1 - 0, only to score 2 more runs and finish with a strong 3 - 0 victory.

Great job girls!!! Your hard work is paying off!!
